Microwave ovens
Competent technology for: Chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food and animal feed production, ceramics and insulation material production
Field of application
Microwave technology, suitable for
- Water, products containing water
- Ceramic materials
- Plastic
- Insulation materials
- Food, also packaged
- Pharmaceutical products
- Natural materials
- General cargo
- Building materials
- Foundry products, such as cores or core coatings

Designs
Your application and requirements determine the MWT design
- Chamber microwaves: Discontinuous process
- Continuous microwaves: Continuous processes
- Combination microwaves: Semi-continuous processes
- Mobile microwave ovens
- Hybrid systems, e.g. microwave and hot air
Advantages
Microwaves in the MWT series are characterized by
- Heating from the inside out
- Direct energy input
- High energy efficiency
- Flexible application options
- No mechanical stress on the product
- Rapid heating possible
Procedure
Microwaves heat the product or product ingredients using high-frequency electromagnetic waves that couple to the product or water molecules. In contrast to conventional methods, the heat is generated from inside the product.

Execution
Microwave ovens are used in different designs.
- Chamber systems
- Semi-continuous or intermittent systems
- Fully continuous systems
- Silicone-free version
- Food and hygiene design
- Site-specific design
